Met groot genoegen berichten wij dat Schoolsport B.V. vanaf 1 juli 2010 een 4-jarig contract heeft afgesloten met het ministerie van Defensie.
Dit betekent dat Schoolsport de komende 4 jaren de vaste leverancier is van alle krijgsmachtonderdelen van de Koninklijke Landmacht, Koninklijke Luchtmacht, Koninklijke Marine en Koninklijke Marechaussee van sport- en spelmateriaal en zelfverdedigingsartikelen zoals boksen, judo, schermen enz.
Wij zijn zeer verheugd met deze prachtige opdracht en wij beschouwen dit als een bekroning op ons werk van het leveren van de allerbeste kwaliteits artikelen zoals: Mikasa, Easton, Toalson, Exel, Porter, Ihsan enz. Ook voor U!!
Mikasa Corporation and IKF sign new contract
Mikasa Corporation is a Japanese company which was founded in Hiroshima, Japan in 1917.
Mikasa produces a wide range of sporting products including balls for a variety of games, sporting apparel and a range of other sports equipment.
Balls are one of the specific expertise areas of Mikasa and the production of volleyballs, water polo balls and korfballs in particular make up the core of Mikasa’s business.
Mikasa produce the official International Match Standard korfballs and these korfballs are used exclusively in all IKF Events and the IKF Patronized Events.
The new contract expresses the mutual commitment to korfball over the upcoming years between both parties. The IKF is very satisfied that the cooperation and partnership with Mikasa is extended and together we will do our utmost to give korfball the exposure our sport deserves.
Future plans include a well defined distribution channel: “Korfballs must be made easily available in each of the fifty seven member federations of the IKF all over the world” says Frans Walvis, Senior Vice president of the IKF.
The cooperation between Mikasa and the IKF has continued for many years already. This new contract gives a clear sign that both parties feel there is added value in the partnership and that the relationship is strong and enduring.

MIKASA Announces Partnership with the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN)

Mikasa Europe and LEN jointly announced today that starting October 1, 2008, Mikasa will be the official ball supplier of Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) until the end of the 2011/2012 season. More specific terms were not disclosed.
Mikasa will be the exclusive official supplier of Water Polo game balls for all water polo events under the jurisdiction of LEN. Namely the Mens and Womens European Water Polo Championships (all categories; senior, U20 and juniors) and the European Water Polo Club Competitions, i.e. Mens Euro League and LEN Trophy, Womens Champions Cup and LEN Trophy.
